| Quick Tour: Recording routes (4/9)
After calibrating the map, your current position and direction is indicated on the map. In Follow GPS mode, the map will scroll to track the GPS position. You can also scroll the map manually by dragging it on the screen using the stylus (Follow GPS should be switched off).
The grey bar at the bottom of the screen shows the current location, speed, altitude and GPS status.
Select Record new track to start a new recording. Recording is performed completely in the background, so you can switch to other maps and even to other tracks without disrupting the recording.
By switching to Trace Track mode, you can trace a track afterwards using the Jog dial (A920/A925: up/down arrows). The yellow arrow will follow the recorded track, and the values in the bottom bar reflect the GPS data at the time of recording.
